Wilfried Nancy declared he did not fear dismissal, asserting, “We are really close to a turnaround,” despite moving dangerously close to being fired with a heavy loss to Rangers.

“The level we had at certain moments was really, really, really high. That happened. And I would not speak so positively if it was different. That is the reason, regarding outcomes, I said we've seen this before. That’s why I feel we are nearly there to getting it right. Currently: small things.”

“There were many, many good things that we did, once more. But now comes down to performing for 90 minutes. My outlook would not be if it was not the case. Therefore I firmly believe we’re going to be able to turn things around.”

Opposition Reaction Outlook

The victorious boss was cautious about a title charge despite what appeared to be a huge result. “One match at a time, and we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The faith in the group is outstanding.”
